The audio engine is the central core of the audio related part of the Performance Engine. This software module has a diverse range of features to play, manipulate and position audio. Through the connection with the Statemachine it gives the user full interactive control over the many features the Audio Engine has. It is possible to play sounds over different speakers and create an spatial setup of these speakers creating a surround sound environment. With the use of the other Input modules you can make all kinds of connection to trigger a sample or to trigger a sample at a specific location/speaker.
