May 12-15: 4 days
A motion capture installation is high on the wish-list of the Media and Performance Laboratory. In a so-called ‘freaklab’ in May we’ll have a guest-mocap installation to make the first moves in discovering (technical) possibilities and challenges for research in a performative context. How can we make this system connect and talk with other protocols and tools in the lab? Such as Unity, ZOCP, Ableton, Oculus Rift, Kinect, etc.
The Freaklab is set up as a research playground for coders and developers in virtual reality… It’s a rough exploration of visual, audio and performative do’s and don’ts in motion capture.
With Keez (PIPS:lab), Machiel, Roderick and Arnaud (Z25), Joris (MAPLAB) etc. When you’re interested in joining us (any or all days) with your experience and research questions in working with the mo-cap, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org
